Type of Cross Reference

Indicates the type of element to which a cross reference is pointing (e.g., to a figure, a footnote, a citation, etc.). These values may be used for type-specific processing or validation.

fig-anchor Indicates where a figure should be placed if downstream requirements call for tables and figures to be interlaced with the text rather than grouped together at the end of the article.
fn Reference to a footnote
ref-list Reference to a bibliographic references list. Not currently used, as APA does not assign @ids to reference lists.
sec Reference to a section
statement Reference to a statement, such as a lemma or hypothesis. Not currently used, as APA does not assign @ids to statements.
table Reference to a table
table-anchor Indicates where a table should be placed if downstream requirements call for tables and figures to be interlaced with the text rather than grouped together at the end of the article.
